Details:
My wife, Sarah, and I (and our dog, Luther) would like invite any/all neighbors interested over to our house at 726 Cramer Ave. for a beer tasting and rating event on Friday, March 25 at 7pm. This is my first attempt at something like this so please humor me if the logistics seem off. No prior beer knowledge is necessary, just an open mind and desire to meet and mingle with your neighbors.
We are asking that everyone bring one six pack of one of the listed beers below. The idea is that around three (from each six pack) will be dispersed for a tasting and rating into 1.5 oz. pours. Beers will be divided into styles and numbered with a brief description, but their identities will not be revealed. Everyone will get a sheet to rate or take notes on each beer tasted, and then we will reveal what is what at the end, followed by a raffling off of the leftover beer. Ideally, everyone will take home (approximately) three beers.
Please email these me back at jasonbehler@yahoo.com telling me which six pack (or four pack) you will be contributing. This is the list, all of which I believe can be found at Beer Trappe (Euclid), Liquor Barn (several locations around town), or Shenanigans (S. Broadway). Right now we have 16 beers listed if we get more people, we will add more beers. Hope to see you a week from Friday. Cheers!
