Mark your calendar for the Mentelle Neighborhood Association’s annual membership meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Ashland Elementary School. Members will elect officers and board members for the coming year. They also will have a chance to voice ideas and concerns.
The nominating committee is now preparing a slate of candidates. If you are interested in running for a board seat — or for president, vice president, secretary or treasurer — please email nominating committee chair Tom Eblen before Oct. 15 to be included. Nominations also can be made at the meeting.
If you live or own a business in the neighborhood (bounded by Mentelle Park and Walton Avenue, Main Street and National Avenue) and are not a member of the association, but would like to become one, click here for more information.
