- Centered is celebrating its fifth anniversary Friday and Saturday, June 1 and 2, at 309 N. Ashland Ave., Suite 180. Other businesses in the Warehouse Block area are planning sidewalk sales during the weekend.
- The second annual all-neighborhood yard sale is Saturday, June 2, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., rain or shine. The Mentelle Neighborhood Association is asking
residents who plan to have sales in their yard or garage to contribute $5 to help with promotional costs. Have good items but don’t want to organize your own sale? There will be a booth in the Mentelle Park median for residents who want to donate yard sale items, with proceeds going to the association. (Last year, the booth earned $265.50 for the association.) - On Sunday, June 3, the association will sponsor a Garden Social. Mentelle neighborhood residents will be invited to enjoy food and drink in three of your neighbors’ gardens. More details will be announced in May.
